InactiveSearch works fine when power on reboot but fails after use with “no items”. Latest software UKSFAA 3.00.77 is loaded.
This is a new unit, so is this a fault that means the unit should be returned?
Any help appreciated, thanks

InactiveFOXSAT “home” page has the facility to “Search” for upcoming programs by just entering 3 characters. This only works after a fresh power up otherwise it just says “no items” I don’t know how better to describe the issue – sorry

InactiveWhat unit do you actually have? You mention a (new?) Foxsat (but not if HD or HDR). However you posted in a HD-1000s/HDR-1010S/HDR-1100S forum.

InactiveIt is an HDR-1100s. Is that sufficient or do you need the Device ID ?
I’m new to forum posting so sorry if I don’t give the right responses

That’s fine. It’s a second generation Freesat+ box. All the models use the same software.
HDR-1000S, HDR-1010S and HDR-1100S.
Just tried BAR on my 1000S and it returned 25 items. Box has been on since about 9am.
NEW found 335 items
Is your box connected to the internet ? If not your search results will differ.

No need to apologise, we are here to help.
Just tried search on a HB 1100S and it appears to be working, will try a HDR 1100S shortly.

InactiveYes connected to intranet. The only thing different from vanilla installation was the deletion of some unwanted channels, if that’s important

ModeratorChecked a HDR 1100S and search appears to be working as intended, will leave on and check again in an hour or so.

Did you get any results using BAR and NEW ?
December 13, 2017 at 3:38 pm #82877Barry
ModeratorChecked the HDR 1100S again as stated in post #9 same results as before.
I have seen ‘no items’ displayed before, but only for 2 seconds or so before results are displayed.

InactiveSorry for delay, had to go out. BAR and NEW both return “No item”. However, power off and on again Search shows plenty of results for both BAR and NEW !?

Inactive…and coming out of Search and into TV guide and then back to Search – nothing found again, surely this has to be a problem with the software

We all have the same software. Make a note of your recording schedule (photograph it with a digital camera), you will need to re-enter it. Now do a reset to factory defaults. (default password is 0000).

InactiveI thought that might be the case. I will try that at a more convenient time and report
Thanks
