Hi all, Newbie here. Just got the HDR 1000 box to replace the internal Freesat tuner and external hdd on my Samsung TV. I was told the box would work the same as the internal tuner I have been using but I’m struggling to get it to autoscan for channels. It works fine with one of the sky coax connections so the box is ok but it doesn’t find anything when I set transponder to “All”. If I set the transponder manually it will find groups of channels but it’s laborious and they don’t show if I try and bring up the EPG. Any tips/ideas welcomed. Many Thanks
The non-Freesat channels do not appear in the EPG and cannot be added. Your experience of non-Freesat is as good as it gets.

Looks like I’m destined to never be able to record anything from German tv with any degree of confidence it will work consistently. I’ll have to see if manual recording works
You can’t record while in non-freesat mode.
