InactiveWhen looking in menu/setup/manual tune, the first two options are greyed out, these are Tuner and Satellite. Is it not possible to open up more satellite options.

InactiveNo I was not recording.

InactiveBut did/does it think it was recording? Try power-cycling it to unconfuse it.

No I was not recording.
Recording includes the pre 15 minutes watch for AR codes. It doesn’t have to be actually recording just waiting for one to start.

InactiveThanks again for your time.
Not sure what an AR code is but have switched off power and switch on again and no difference.
Have noticed that in the manual(page GB52) which shows the Manual Tune dialogue box, both Tuner and Satellite are both greyed out and there appears to be no mention of these items in the text.

InactiveJust re-read your OP and can confirm that these menu items are greyed out for me too. But then they look like they are to do with having more than one dish connect to the box. Someone with experience of this on here should be able to expand on this but for a standard Freesat installation what you have is normal.

ParticipantAs gomezz says these are used when you have set up additional lnb(s) aligned on other orbital points (eg 19.2E). Using a diseqc switch the box can add channels from these to the non freesat channel list. When you choose to view one of these the hdr selects the appropriate lnb using the diseqc switch.
During setup the box assumes you have a fixed antenna (not motorised or having multiple lnb’s) that it’s aligned on 28.2/28.5E and selects either 1 cable or 2 cable mode depending on the connections it identifies during setup.
You can change all these in the hidden setup menu if you have kit aligned on other satellite groups

InactiveThanks, for info, it all sounds very logical.
