InactiveI use to be able to use my Foxsat+HDR PVR with no problem in conjunction with my Samsung smart TV.
The Foxsat box is switching on fine and showing the Channels in the display window; also another tv is receiving the Freesat signal from the same dish with no problem.
However, now for some reason the TV (model: QE55Q70CAT) cannot see the signal from the dish. I have swapped the LNB input cables, as recommended by my original installer, and I have worked through the setup wizard but still it doesn’t work.
Has there been any frequency changes that might be the problem?
Any advice would be helpful please

InactiveQuote:Has there been any frequency changes that might be the problem? Not really. Some freesat channels (for example the U&… and Legend… groups) changed their encoding in recent months which require them to be deleted and relearnt, but the majority of channels haven’t changed.
The description of your problem is not really clear (to me).
If the Samsung TV cannot see the signal from the dish, how is the Foxsat involved ?
The assumption is that a Foxsat will be connected between the dish and the TV.
The dish to Foxsat connection will be coax cable.
The Foxsat to TV connection will typically be HDMI, though it could be SCART or RCA type.
If that is your set up, with the Foxsat fully booted, what does the TV actually display when set to show the Foxsat ?

InactiveApologies if my query is confusing in the following respect:
My TV works fine when receiving , as normal, its signal via the internet (Apple TV etc).
The problem I have is when I am trying to access Freesat channels via my Foxsat box (and record on its pvr or merely get certain channels not otherwise accessible).
This never used to be an issue but now the TV cannot see the signal from the dish/Foxsat setup – even though all is normal for the direct feed from the dish to my other TV and the Foxsat box is showing the channels (so presumably is seeing the dish) but nothing is getting to the Samsung TV.

InactiveStill not 100% clear to me I’m afraid.
Quote:nothing is getting to the Samsung TVIs the Samsung literally displaying a blank screen or does it say something like ‘No Signal’ ?
Does Freesat via the satellite/foxsat display properly when connected to the other TV using HDMI ?

InactiveAlso not clear to me.
nothing is getting to the Samsung TV.
In addition to Dino’s first two outstanding questions, and also his latest two questions, as well as you confirming his status assumption …
When you say “nothing” are you saying that not even any of the menus of the FOXSAT HDR can be viewed via the Samsung TV?

InactiveRe the second tv – it gets its signal directly from the antenna dish; it has nothing to do with the Foxsat box.
The display on the Samsung TV is “no signal”
(If I knew how to attach pics I would do so!!)

InactiveNo signal suggests a problem between the Foxsat and the Samsung.
Has anything changed since it last worked – e.g. equipment moved or powered off other than normal operation ?
Assuming it is HDMI, try these in turn.
1) Check the existing connection is firmly connected at both ends – reseat if necessary.
2) Replace the original HDMI cable with a known good HDMI cable ensuring it is properly seated at both ends.
3) Try moving the TV end of the HDMI cable to a different HDMI port on the Samsung (if it has one)
4) Connect a known good SCART lead between the Foxsat and the Samsung.
5) Connect the HDMI cable from the Foxsat to an HDMI input on the other TV.
Ensure the TV is set to display the appropriate input (may be called HDMI1, HDMI2 or SCART depending on the TV)
Report the results in each case.

InactiveConversely, the pictures suggest a problem with the satellite feed to the Foxsat.
Is your connection from the dish to the foxsat dual cable or single cable with loop ?
Is it possible to try the coaxial satellite feed that supplies the other TV in the Foxsat ?

InactiveThere is a 2 cable feed to the Foxsat box – LNB 1 and 2
It’s not possible to link the other TV’s cable from the dish.
