The response to the remote was temperamental – becoming unresponsive in the TV guide etc but then the unit went into automatic standby for some reason and no longer responds to the remote. I have changed the batteries several times to no avail. I tried to see if I could see any infrared signal via the camera on my iPhone but couldn’t see anything. Do I just need to buy a new remote?? Any help much appreciated.
If you are absolutely sure remote is a goner then replacementxmay be needed.
