Have PVR 9300T I see old issues re remote problems but none for Jan 2012. I uploaded the latest 4.5 version about 1 month agao and all Ok with screen freezing etc.
However over the weekend I recorded from Radio 796 and could not then get back to TV. Found TV/Radio button, pressed TV – all OK. However after that the remote worked very very very slowly. Tried switching from TV/Radio/TV again, putting back to Default, searching channels again but no progress.
Please Help, I am going nuts with this!!

Are you on the latest firmware version (1.00.26)?
If not you need to upgrade – the next transmission for 9300t is this Friday 27th to Sun 29th.
The remote-control-has-stopped-working thread still applies to you by the sound of it.
If you cannot upgrade via the OTA method you would need to use a null modem lead.
