    I’d very much appreciate your advice please.

    My two year old remote has stopped working fully!

    I’ve tried new batteries,fully reset the unit by discharging, inspected the pcb and solder joints and flexed the board gently but to no effect.

    The problem is that all the buttons work apart from the top group,( Mute,Power,TV,DVD,Audio,1 and 2).

    The PVR indicator light illuminates when the working buttons are pressed but none of the remaining indicators do.

    If no remedy is available, please can you recommend a universal replacement which fully controls the Foxsat PVR

    Not that it is any consolation but the buttons on my Foxsat HDR remote control have always been a bit iffy. Worst remote control build quality I have ever had the “pleasure” of owning.

    I use a Harmony 555 universal remote but the 300 model is an inexpensive and popular choice.
