I have a Humax Y View DTR-T1010 2TB recorder using the latest software (3.2.62) that as I have said in another thread is locking/freezing up.

I have borrowed a Humax FVP-4000T Recorder to try.

The software hand written in the owner in the book is: 1.01.25, but may have been updated since

(he cannot remember).

I cannot see how to check the settings on the recorder, the manual says, from the Home button go to ‘settings’

but I cannot see a settings tab.

There is: ‘On Demand’ – ‘TV Guide’ – ‘Recordings’ & ‘Media’

Below that line is: ‘Recent’ – ‘BBC i player’ – ‘ITV’ – ‘C4’ – ‘Demand 5′ – Netflix’ – ‘You Tube’ – ‘UK Play’

Freeview Explorer’ – BBC News’ – BBC Sport’ -& ‘Humax Eye’.

My question is the remotes must be on the same code as both boxes respond when either is used

I have searched but cannot see if I can change either remote code, I would prefer to change the Humax Y View one as that is mine.

Can anyone help please

How do I get to the settings on the Humax FVP-4000T and can I change the remote code on that one if I cannot on the Humax Y View recorder ?
