Why is it that when operating the box I cannot set a reminder for a whole series (though I can record a whole series). But if I use the freesat app I can set a reminder for a whole series.
Is that an oversight? Or have I missed something?

That’s interesting. Does the reminder actually work ? Guessing it’s a bug, The capability would be handy to effectively record 3 at once using the time shift buffer file.
Good spot I don’t use the app because of the constant boots of the box to check for schedule changes.
Yes the reminder does appear to work as far as I can remember.

Update: the full series reminder on the app, only reminds you via the app (notification). It doesn’t program the box, like it does when you do a record single episode or all episodes.
To me that’s a missing feature; not being able to do a whole series reminder

I agree. I have also previously posted the same observation. I was just surprised the remote schedule app appeared to support a feature that the box itself doesn’t.
I doubt very much this will be fixed even if it is actually possible to do so.
