    Hi all,

    I’ve only had the box a few hours and really love it but I do miss the red LED that was on the front of the skybox whilst recording is active.

    Perhaps the power LED on the front of the box could flash whilst recording is in operation on the HDR1000? Not sure if others think this is a good idea and I know there’s an icon on the alpha display, but it’s a bit small for my 48 year old eyes :)

    any thoughts?

    (my power led is inoperative whilst the box is powered)

    You could stick a small led usb powered light in the front or rear usb port . The usb ports are powered during the pre 15 min recording period and during recording. I have a usb lead with built in lights that I have used to see when the box is active.

    If you just want to know if the box is recording when fully on, press the recordings button and look to see if the latest at the top of the list is active.
