Last night I noticed that a recording icon was grey out (and showed a symbol of a broken chain instead of the programme screen grab, it was a series link) and there was a brief pop-up along the lines of “No programme recorded as no programme was broadcast at this time” That might not be quite right as it was so brief I couldn’t get it all really. Yet the programme was there in its entirety and it played back in full and correctly. R-
P.s. If this topic has been started somewhere else (I couldn’t find it) please can I ask Admin to move it so it joins the thread.
I’m guessing there was a signal issue but it wasn’t bad enough to affect the recording? I had this a lot after moving house – some of the channels had reception issues and I’d get the greyed out recording icon – some of the recordings were mainly ok with the odd loss of picture/sound and it was sorted out with a new aerial.
