My (new) 1800 has a really peculiar fault …. while watching a recorded programme with subtitles and pausing, the subtitles get ahead of the picture by a few phrases ! Really odd and definitely wrong.
On coming out of “pause” to “play” things take a while to get in step.
Anybody else has had a similar problem?
Often, on ITV. It’s not the box. A workaround is to stop the recording and then resume, rather than pausing.
Thanks for that, alas it is happening on CH4.
Neither ITV nor C4 take as much care with subtitles as one could wish.
