RCA output Terminates when HDMI active

    I use the RCA output to send the signal around the house via a RF modulator, but this has now stopped working if the TV connected via HDMI to the 4000T is on, or the HDMI cable is plugged in.

    Why does the RCA output get terminated when the HDMI is connected. I know that RCA output is not HD, but cannot see the reason for disabling the RCA connections, they are 2 separate outputs.

    This function did work, but now it’s been changed for no apparent reason and it’s very annoying if you don’t want to pause a programme while you go to make a drink and watch in the kitchen. Anyone got a fix?

    Settings

    General Settings

    Video

    Try switching SD Output to on.

    Thanks for the info Barry, but does this mean that no HD output is available when set to “always on”, even via HDMI for the HD channels (101, 102, 103, etc…)?
