    I’ve installed the 4.06 code onto my Humax Foxsat HDR from a USB stick and all works well. I then downloaded the full web UI and installed the FTP server. This also worked fine.

    However sometime later I tried to connect to the Humax via FTP or the web interface and I get no connection. I’ve checked that I can reach the Humax box (ping) and I’ve run a TCP/IP portscan on it and it has no open ports.

    I then tried reloading the media and file server bundle from the USB stick and all worked fine again for a day or so before loosing access again.

    Has anyone else seen this issue and if so have you found a workaround ?

    You need version 4.0.7 – version 4.0.6 is designed for Humax release 1.00.17 and 4.0.7 is for release 1.00.20. What is happening is that the Humax housekeeping process sees an old release and updates with the current release.
