InactiveOn my PVR9200T remote control the volume, information, PIP and mute buttons do not work. The others do – looking at the transmitter end with a digital camera I can see that the other buttons create a signal while the ones that do not work do not show a signal.
Tried brand new duracell batteries but no improvement.
Cannot see any damage or spilling on the remote.

Sounds like a faulty remote. Your options are to open it and try and clean it or buy a replacement either from Humax or a third party product.

InactiveThanks for the reply Martin.
Just noticed that I have the PVR9200TB rather than PVR9200T.
Can I assume that a remove for the PVR9200T will work with a PVR9200TB?
I think the model number for the PVR9200T remote is RT-531B – like this one Link to Amazon

InactiveThe ‘B’ just means the box is black, I doubt the remote is different.
I came across a YouTube video the other day on how the remote comes apart, do a search.

Inactivewondered if anyone knew of a remote that I can get today in Argos or somewhere like that that will work on the 9200T. Have taken the hummy to holiday house and left the remote behind at home. So just need a ‘one week’ replacement. So can’t wait for Amazon to deliver.
Thought I saw one mentioned on this forum yesterday, but can’t find it again today. typical!
Or alternatively, can anyone suggest a way of ‘re-setting/tuning’ the hummy without a remote?

ParticipantOne of the Harmony or OFA Xsight ones should do the job but you need an internet connection for full setup.
alternatively a OFA URC-7556 (aka Digital 5) will do most functions
