InactiveMy wife is having problems recording programmes that are repeated in the day. E.g. Home + Away. She selects “record series” on the morning episode but the box is trying to record the evening episode. This fails as it already clashes with other recordings at that time.
This worked in the past but has started failing again just recently.

InactiveHi, i have the freeview version, that was recording the programe at dinner time on C5 OK, then recording on 5*.
I stoped it by going to 5* in the programe guide and found a service link there also, I just delited it.
I hope this workes for you.

InactiveMaybe going back to doing it the old way with a Weekday Repeat instead of using Series Link for this one, assuming it is in a fixed time slot.

InactiveThanks for the suggestions.
We tried the weekday repeat but that didn’t record at all.
Barry: what is the “service link” that you mention on 5*?

ParticipantMine was the same with Home and Away. Deleting the link Monday and re-creating it seems to have sorted it.

InactiveSorry I should have put Series Link not service link.
When I set up the Series Link on C5 for Home & Away it also set up a Series Link on C5*
I delited the one on C5* and all is now OK.

InactiveIt has recently gone completely bonkers!
All “record series” are playing up now.
For instance “record series” on one Judge Judy is attemtping to record something like 10-12 programmes distributed across the channels! This is extremely frustrating for a system that is supposed to make recording easier for users not drive them mad.

ParticipantChange your postcode to M2 4JA. Wide spread reports of similar with anyone with ITV1-HD London on the epg.

InactiveThanks for the response.
I will try this – I suspect that it will not work as we are not in London. We are in a Derbyshire postcode.

You can use any postcode you like on a Freesat box. The problems with ITV1-HD London are now reported as being resolved. With a Derbyshire postcode I would think you get the Granada version of ITV1 HD anyway.
