Sounds problems with top box:

1/ tv normal sound 26/30 tv and humax have to turn sound up on both to 70/75.

1)I meant examples of programmes causing problems.
But it is usual to set the volume on the Humax at its maximum and control the TV volume from programme to programme and channel to channel.

This is the best course of action for a lot of devices, especially those which are outputting digital sound and the volume control also adjusts this. Best to have all devices at their maximum and have the final link in the chain (usually TV speakers or a home cinema amplifier) control the “master volume”.
