Hi I have a new Humax HDR Fox T2 and a Sandstrom Soundbar. The problem is the Soundbar is switching itself off randomly. Sometimes every 15 minutes sometimes longer. The Soundbar is connected to the Humax via an optical cable and the Humax connected to the Sony TV via HDMI cable. The Sony TV does not have an optical connection. I have turned off the power saving on the Humax but it still turns itself off into sleep mode. HD Channels keep the soundbar alive longer than standard channels but I can’t find any solution?
Any help much appreciated.
Have you tried the soundbar with some other source (eg DVD player) as it sounds like that is the bit of kit which is faulty. Another thing is to try a different optical cable.
