Hi,
I have an HD-FOX T2 and have noticed that it doesn’t scale MP4s properly, either directly from a hard drive or using a media server). For example, a 720 x 304 MP4 will be resized to 720 x 576 and the aspect ratio looks totally wrong. I haven’t attempted this yet, but I imagine if I were to create a video 4 pixels high, when played on my box it would fill the whole screen. I am currently manually resizing my videos and adding black bars top and bottom so they will play with the correct aspect ratio.
Is everyone else seeing this or is it just me? This seems like a massive problem not to have already been picked up, so I cam kind of thinking it must be something I am doing wrong.
I have a widescreen Sony TV connected to my HD-FOX T2 via scart cable. My TV is set to use widescreen mode, my Humax is set to 16:9 auto.

I have attached a sample video. On my box this plays full screen!
Still learning. Zipped video attached.
Wouldn’t let me attach the video as a zip file either, I give up. It was a 720 x 304 mp4 generated using an avisynth script.
