I am confused by my 4000t. Yesterday, when I tried to view live TV there was only a very faint picture. Sound was OK. My initial thought was that the TV was at fault so I tried with another but got the same result.
Recording and playback work fine. The aerial seem OK – live TV via the aerial rather than the 4000t is fine.
I’ll be grateful for any suggestions as to the cause of this behaviour.

I am not sure what you mean by live TV. Do you mean watching TV via the tuner of the TV rather than via the HDMI feed from the Humax? If so and the Humax is in standby, have you got the “Power saving in standby” setting set to off (which is necessary for aerial pass through to work)?
Hi welcome to our forum. Try pulling out the power adaptor for 5 mins. Reconnect the power and wait for the box to boot and restart the clock and shut down. Now try booting the box.
