    Hey

Does anyone else have an issue with the playbar on Live TV?

As you can see, I'm watching Pointless, its 23 minutes in to the program and I turned the Aura on at 17:28. However, the timeline shows 2 hours from the point I turned the Aura on…

Its 17:51 when the picure was taken, so why does it say Pointless is running for another two hours? The guide data is corrrect and it happens on other shows…

Surely the timeline for Live TV should the duration of the current program?

Could this be considered a bug?

Time Shifted Recording (TSR) Your Freeview Play Recorder supports time shifted recording (TSR) that allows you to pause a live programme and return to it later where you left off. The TSR function temporarily records the programme you are watching on the hard drive for up to 2 hours.

That is perfectly normal when you pause, as barrados has explained.

On my 4000t, if I press pause I get an almost identical screen, if I press the OK button (during live TV) I get the information box and the programme specific time bar so I would like to think that similar happens with the Aura.

Thanks guys – that makes sense.

I’m not if that behaviour is useful or not… I can’t think of a scenario where I’d want to rewind back to the beginining of the two hour buffer when I can navigate back in the guide and stream it…

Perhaps its a suggestion for the “Aura suggestions to improve unit” thread.

You can’t do that for all channels from the EPG whereas the buffer works on whichever channel you happen to be watching.
