I’m new to Humax, a refugee from Sky!
Seems a great unit, bar one baffling issue. I have no wish to trail through every possible channel when I am skimming, so selected my Favourites just as I have had on Sky for many years.
Then it appears that EVERY time I want to search through what’s on, I can’t just go to my Favourites, I have to go into List, then into options toggle up/down to Favourites and from there go to them. I can’t find any way of pinning my Favourites option in List function.
Am I missing something [please tell me if it’s me being thick!]?
If not, this is a real issue, as it impacts pretty much every time I use the box!?
That’s the way it works and has done from day 1. Many, many complaints about that on lots of forums.
Does Humax watch the forums. If so I would like to add my name about the same issue to the list of complainants.

Unfortunately it’s nothing to do with Humax as the freetime UI is entirely down to Freesat, Humax can only alter things on their say so.
You’d be better off giving feedback direct to Freesat themselves. It’s hard t say whether or not they actually take on board any feedback as getting answers from their (now defunct) Communty Forum was like getting blood from a stone, but it certainly won’t hurt giving it a go.

The fastest way is guide – list – up – OK.
However if you know the channel numbers you can skip to any channel by simply pressing the numbers =. EG pressing 126 jumps to Channel 4 HD.
