I have had the box just under one week, picture went dark on TV,not the tv, the Humax box was the cause. Unplugged the box, all ok..is this normal? Tia
Your TV may have separate picture settings when viewing via the HDMI port compared with when viewing direct without the box.
If you adjust the picture settings on the TV to make it brighter while watching via the box, you may find that the picture is unchanged when you view without the box.
