    I’m searching the way to watch Humax HD-Fox T2 on PC monitor with a resolution of 1920×1200 or any other/lower PC monitor standard resolution (1280×800, 800×600, 640×480 etc.)

    My PC monitor has DVI and VGA input. It doesn’t work with the Humax with HDMI-DVI cable.

    Please let me know some solution to have any picture on PC monitor.

    Thanks

    You will probably find your monitor has a minimum vertical refresh of 56Hz so won’t synchronise with the 50Hz box output.

    Find a monitor with HDMI (with HDCP) input. I use my FOXSAT-HDR with my BenQ monitor via HDMI just fine.

    Thanks guys,

    I don’t really want to buy an another monitor just for live TV I rather discard from Humax box. The whole point of buying just a box was to connect it to my 24″ monitor.

    But I have found something:

    HDMI 1080p, 720p input -> VGA 1920×1200 60Hz output

    it seems to be alright to me, hopefully it’ll work together.

    Also, I am thinking about asking a non-public firmware supplying 1920×1200 60Hz output or lower resolution for PC monitor

    Problem solved with a Ł10 HDMI 1080p -> VGA 1200 converter :)

    not perfectly full HD but very good picture in HD channels much better than HD
