I have happened to be up early for a few nights lately and noticed that my HDR 2000T fires up the HD at about 4.30am for a minute or so then shuts down.
I suspect it is just checking for any possible updates etc a bit like my Sky and an older PVR I had used to do.
Can someone confirm this is the case and is it just the once a night check as didn’t really want the HD running at all unless I am using it?
