    Hi Barry et al.,

The initial problems (some still current) were countered by my amazement at the quality of the OD services. I was blown away by the picture and sound quality as one sat there able to choose your favourite concerto/soloist/orchestra etc. for hour on end. Amazing (and there was also iPlayer etc.)

Now that doesn’t work! (as far as I remember, I hadn’t changed anything.) Usually most of the OD features are ok but it is YouTube that won’t play. I’ll just say that I am connected by ethernet, to a BT5 router, all the other tablets/phones in the house work, e.g. I can get a YouTube concert on a tablet, I can see the still image of the same thing on the TV but if I try to play it I get either “loading” ad inf. or a blank black screen.

I’ve rebooted everything, turned CEC on/off, tried different ports for the HDMI. Any ideas would be grate fully received. Rgards.

Just checked to see if there was a problem with Youtube, and it is working ok for me.

Thanks Barry, you may have seen I mentioned this “feature” in another post this morning. It’s working perfectly today, but I haven’t changed anything. Similarly it switched on ok today but yesterday I had to resort to “remove plug from socket again” It’s the inconsistency that is making it so difficult to track the “fault”.

Home Hub 5? Have you tried checking the settings (esp. any “Smart” settings) followed by a reset?

Hi, I repeatedly reset just in case, but that doesn’t help. I’d be grateful for any guidance about “settings/smart settings”
