The HDR’s response to the OK button on my RM-F01 remote seems to only work after umpteen attempts or maybe not at all when wanting to play or delete a recording. The other buttons seem ok. Tried changing batteries but unless my replacements are also worn out or duds- don’t think so- there’s no improvement.
The box is over 80% full with recordings which i don’t want to delete but before ordering a new remote, any thoughts on whether the amount may be causing the non-response?
If you install the custom firmware from AV Forums it comes with a WiFi remote control you can use with anything that has a web browser connected to the same home network. Smart phones, tablets PC’s etc.
There are posts on the internet that explain how to open and clean the remote which may fix the issue.
