Today is the last day of October and I have just tried to programme my 5000T for BBC1SD for the news at 1735 tomorrow (1st Nov) to cover both main and local news (25 minutes).
I set all the correct parameters and the date definitely said 1/11, but when I entered it there was nothing showing for it in the schedule. I then tried again and got a recording conflict for 1st December.
I found that the only way I could get it right was to reschedule the “1/12” recording to 1/11 and it worked.
I wonder if anyone else has noticed this at a month’s end or can reproduce it.

Yes, me too. This and many other things might make you think that the programmers have never actually used the PVR.

I have a feeling I fell over this one before, probably on the last day of July.
How very odd. I wouldn’t normally manually schedule in this way – but mine does exactly the same. Going back and rescheduling to 1st November works for me as well.
I would normally go to the EPG and schedule the national news and then go and reschedule to cover the local news as well. That worked first time, but is debatable which is quicker/easier to do.
Normally I have a daily 1800 for 60 minutes set up, but it doesn’t work at weekends as the times are different. This issue will then only show up when the 1st is at the weekend.
