I can see an option on my Humax box for non Freesat channels, im a little reluctant to play around in case I loose all of my current channels :)

If I select this can I just switch back? What channels would this bring me would it be just lots of Euro non english language channels?

    Thanks all.

Basically, except for some music, a lot of rubbish which you can’t record.

Edit: yes you can switch back via the home menu.

As Repassac says mostly rubbish. You won’t get Foreign language channels as your dish points at a satellite group that carries UK channels. If you use a Sky box you can watch pretty well all of them (You aren’t missing much).

However it does mean you can watch (But not record) other ITV Regional channels if you so wish that you can’t see excluded by your postcode.

Judge for yourself, a Non-Freesat scan should find all the channels at this link.

    http://en.kingofsat.net/freqs.php?&pos=28.2E&standard=All&ordre=freq&filtre=Clear

As Repassac says you can switch back but be aware that watching a non-freesat channel when a Freesat recording falls due it may fail to record.
