Hi Sinc 3 Sony Movie Channels were added to Freeview I have only been able to access 2 . The Sony Movies Action on channel 40 is not there I have tried doing a channel search but without Any joy . Can someone tell me if there is an alternate channel number it could be on please?
It seems to depend on where you are. According to Digital UK, it is not available in Wales or the Channel Islands.
You may need to do a retune again. Movies4Men was recently renamed as Sony Action (lcn 305 on Freesat), probaby lcn 48 on Freeview.
Still sounds as though you are in Wales or near Wales.

It is , I just found it on channel 800, Everytime since and including Freesport . a channels been added on my STB its on a different channel number I cant understand it!

No. Your results indicate that you are picking up channels from more than one transmitter.

You must be in a location that picks up more than 1 transmitter on a autotune.
Manual tuning is the answer but first of all you need to identify your best transmitter and the one that carries the channel you want.

No. Your results indicate that you are picking up channels from more than one transmitter.
Very probably, or that you are using an English transmitter but your box needs a total retune as it seems, from what you say, that it is getting quite confused.
I cannot get Sony Christmas channel. I have retuned etc!
Not sure why but it’s not listed on the Rowridge transmitter anyway?

It probably depends upon whether you can receive the Local Mux from Rowridge (UHF Channel 37), because that is where it should be located if Rowridge carries it.

When I had a FVP-4000T I didn’t experiment with the “smart” tuning function, but I expect that this is not helping.
Try tuning from scratch using these instructions, but do not deviate form those instructions

When actioning those instructions do NOT select ‘Network Search’ on steps 5 and 6, as this will not work for everyone.

I’m receiving Wenvoe and I can get Sony action movies on CH40
Ican get ch 40 on my Panasonic tv but not on the 500t.Ican get Spike on the 500t but not on the Panasonic. My transmitter is the Wrekin. Both on the same aerial feed. ??

Curious! Are you certain that you are not getting some channels from an English transmitter, like Mendip perhaps?
