    Hi i have had anew humax freesat box for afew weeks,but when i switch the tv off it powers down the box to,how can i stop this i have the box running upstairs to so it turns the tv on down stairs when i turns the box on up stairs,can i switch this off,help please

    Welcome to our Forum :-)

    You need to find the HDMI CEC setting on your TV and turn it off.

    Dependant on model of TV it could be called:

    Panasonic – viera link

    Samsung – anynet

    Philips – easylink

    Toshiba – regza link
