I’m a newbie and not tech minded so please be gentle!
I brought a DVR 1100s box yesterday, we previously had sky. I plugged it in as shown on the set up and selected the hdmi channel on the tv but it continues to say ‘no signal’. It’s a old lg tv with just one hdmi port. I rang humax who were not helpful and said either the box is faulty or it’s your TV’s simplink- I asked about the simplink and he just said I’d have to find it on my TV’s menu – I can’t!
So, I’ve tried the box on three other TV’s in the house – l can only access the start up menu on one of those TV’s (which is a newer smart tv) no other tv will show the humax start up menu. I’ve changed hdmi leads, checked the leads and connections but nothing! Please help!
