Hello,
I need to reset the remote control for my FVP 4000T as I am having problems with the remote control have changed the batteries but still have problem with the remote control.
Any help with this problem would be appreciated.

1) First check that your remote is actually working.
A simple trick is to use a digital camera or the camera on a smartphone and point it at the LED at the top of the remote. When viewing the image on the camera/phone, press buttons on the remote. If it is working you will see the LED light up on the camera/phone display.
2) If the remote is working, you might have set the remote control mode of the remote to be different to that of the Humax. I suggest reading https://hummy.tv/forum/threads/using-more-than-1-humax-box-in-the-same-room.24/ and cycle through all the modes. Change the mode whilst covering the LED and then (uncovering the LED!) try to switch the Humax on or off. If that doesn’t work, repeat with the next mode.
If no mode works or the remote isn’t working you may need a replacement remote.
Well I unplugged the humax for 30 mins then did the remote reset and it worked first time – so thanks guys !
