    Hello,

I need to replace the hard drive in my FVP 5000T, how do I install the software that you download from the Humax webpage onto the box ?

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

You don’t, you just format the drive.

If the new hard drive is the same capacity as the old one and you have plenty of spare space on a PC then the easiest way would be to take an image backup of the old hard drive and do an image restore to the new hard drive.

    Hello,

I have found other issue with the box, when the box has been unplugged for a couple days and then you plug the box back in to the mains the light on the front of the box comes on blue and the humax logo appears on the TV screen then the Humax logo goes off the screen and when I check the light on the front of the box the light is red, the box has turn off, so press the power button the box comes back on.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Just a quick update replaced the hard drive in the box and it worked, did not even need to do a copy of the hard drive, just put the new hard drive and it worked straight way.

    Thanks for all your help.

    Thanks
