InactiveHi, I have a Humax 1100S HDR and want to move/copy some recordings to a USB stick/expansion drive to allow me to watch on another tv when I’m banished from the lounge
However when I click Humax/videos although I can see both rives I can only see the content of my external drive not the internal content – except for one file I copied from the external drive. I have seen some comments that tend to say I can but another comment stating that copyright prevents me from completing this task. Advice please[attachment=84694,1655]

ParticipantSadly the g2 boxes lack the required DLNA server They do have the capability to replay content from other boxes thanks to a built in DLNA client.
Do you have any other Humax boxes. Some of them can do what you want ?

InactiveHi, g2? I do have another Humax 1100s but need tocopy files from the main one to a usb stick/external storage to transport it across, my main problem is not being able to the content of video ‘folder’ on my primary 1100s
To another question – yes I have access to a Windows 10 lap top. The recordings on the set are a mixture of SD and HD but I understand that HD are encrypted. The main problem is I cant even see the content to enable me to copy it

ParticipantThe only boxes you can export content from to view on other kit are
Foxsat-HDR (requires custom firmware)
HDR-Fox-T2
HDR-1800/2000T.
You might be able to record from the box Composite video and and analogue audio out in real time using a usb capture device on your PC.
Other than that there is a number of HDMI capture devices designed to capture gaming content from games consoles. If one of these works (HDCP may prevent it) then the resulting files should be playable on other devices.
If you have access to a Freeview-HD pvr, then you can connect a digital modulator and record the single channel DVB-T mux that these devices output on standard coax cable. All Freeview-HD kit is HD-DVB-T capable.

Surely the FVP-4000T and FVP-5000T should be added to that list (SD content only)?

All the ones I listed can do both SD and HD.
