InactiveHello all, very new here and new to fiddling with Humax’s.
I have a 9200T with lots of content recorded. Along with a new HD TV I have bought the HDR Fox T2.
Is there a way I can copy recorded TV from the 9200 to the Fox?
I have external HDDs available but cannot see how I transfer files. Seems to be no way in the 9200 instructions.
I am capable of taking out/replacing drives. Can I remove the 9200 drive, fit it in a caddy and connect via USB to the Fox, to do this?
Advice / guidance most welcome, thanks.

ParticipantThe 9200 can transfer content directly to a PC by usb. It came with Humax software to do this but there a number of other 3rd party options.
In addition see HUMAX_RW

To convert for the HDR FOX T2 see

Welcome to the forum.

Best to take the 9200T’s HDD and connected it to a PC (either internally using the IDE interface, or use an IDE to USB device externally). Remember not to initialise the HDD when Windows detects it. Then use HumaxRW to retrieve all the recordings.
The HDR should be able to playback the .ts files straight off an attached USB drive or you can use AV2HDR-T2 to transcode them to its native format.

ParticipantI should also point out that humaxrw is available in the download section here (link)and if you are not comfortable with the command line then Martin Liddle has posted a link to a GUI for it in this post (link)
If you remove the drive and connect directly to a PC the DO NOT allow the PC to initialise the drive.
The HDR uses a different filestructure to the 9200 so cannot read the files directly. You will have to transfer them off.

InactiveSpoke a little soon

A bit more guidance please in use of HUMAXRW Gui.
Do I run the GUI exe file first/only and this will find HUMAXRW by itself?
….. or something else?

Yes. They need to be in the same directory.
