The settings page on my youview box is blank,any ideas?
Recording or about to record in the next 20 mins or so, (watching for the broadcaster to signal the programme has started).
Welcome to our forum. The box (like all Humax boxes) protects recordings until they are made.

Reset to factory defaults.
Check the settings menu to make sure you have a internet connection. I do not have the box so you will need someone with one to help.
The box cannot work without a connection to a broadband router.
Can’t because I can’t get on the settings page to do that.

Have you got a broadband internet service ? If so what internet service provider do you pay to provide this service ?
I have Internet connection, I cant get on settings page, this has worked fine for 2-3 years the page has gone blank recently
Switch the box off at the mains then switch it back on again. Any difference?

I had this problem this morning and was flummoxed. The settings have not gone, when you go into the Menu you see the normal options,Guide, Apps,MyTV along the bottom. If you look at the top right of the screen you will see a cog wheel and a ? Mark by the time.
Press the up key on your remote and select the cog wheel that gets you into settings.
The ? mark pulls up the help menu.

I have no cog wheel in top right corner.
This is the latest menu on my DTR T4000.
There is a way to force an update from boot. You need to search for how to do that.
