For info, I just tried iPlayer here on my 5000T and it was working as normal.
If you have not already, could be worth turning off the power to the box for a few moments and then turning on again. Probably best to be in standby first.

I managed to solve it by discovering that my WiFi connection was, for some reason, no more. It ha been throwing mme as the recorder had kept saying that I was connected to the Internet> I don’t really understand such technicalities
Anyway I reconnected the WiFi and it now works beaytifully so we could watch 6 episodes of “Line of Duty” last night
