Missing com8 channels

    Hi , new user hereusing the Humax FVP4000T 1TB box.

    Have only recently realised that i am not picking up any channels on com8.

    Only really want the new freesports channel on 95 and after numerous auto scans (smart and default scans) discovered that all com8 channels are missing. QVC HD etc. Checked the ukdigital website and i should receive all channels in my area from Crystal Palace.

    If i use the manual scan option , does anyone know what parameters i need to use ?

    Welcome to our Forum :-)

    Manual tune option:

    Channel – 35

    Frequency – ignore

    Transmission – DVB-T2

    Bandwidth – ignore

    Network Search – off

    You should see an indication of the received signal Strength and Quality displayed,

    Then just a matter of highlighting Search and OK.

    You need to be aware that COM7 and COM8 are broadcast at significantly lower power (about 40 kW) compared to the main multiplexes (200kW) so reception may be difficult if you are some distance from the transmitter. The channel number for COM8 from Crystal Palace is 35.
