Has anyone experienced locking on scrolling through different menus?
On the guide, channel list etc I can hit the scroll down button and nothing happens for about 5 seconds. It then moves down but seems to carry on lagging behind the remote. On the top level guide list is has just locked completely a couple of times
Is this a known issue?
This can happen if you are viewing the EPG while it is doing its total refresh thing (get to cached EPG using Schedule then Red to avoid this issue). For it to happen in other displays suggest that it is doing some other background activity that is occupying its time, maybe an activity that has got itself in a bit of a tangle. Try powering it off completely for a few minutes while you make yourself a nice calming cup of tea.
Thanks gomezz, I’ll try that. Everything generally seems to work OK, and I’m only just starting to explore it, but it does seem to be a bit less simple user friendly than the Sky+ box. Sort of PC compared to iPad
