I have noticed that if you press right arrow when in the planned recordings screen a manual recording settings screen appears. This could be a useful addition.

That’s always been there as I’ve used it a few times myself.

There from launch though there are limited repeat options compared to the other Humax boxes. No every weekday for instance.

I never noticed it or saw any mention of it in the manual.

Yeah, there’s plenty of things missing or even wrong in that manual.

Unlike other Humax kit there isn’t a proper manual. Just a few pages with getting started information from freesat, no technical data at all. Not surprised you thought it was new :-), especially if you are a new Humax user. Even for those of us who are used to Humax kit over several years there are some differences hard to explain from previous kit. Simple example reversal of the forward/reverse skip keys with the ones used to jump forward/reverse in the epg.

Perhaps an opportunity for a hints and tips thread.

    eg

Did you know for instance that while viewing the epg if you know the channel number that pressing the channel number buttons in succession jumps instantly to the channel epg entry (119 goes straight to ITV-HD).

Pretty sure your post is new to many new users. Fancy getting your name in lights :-). How about starting a thread, features not in the documentation, discovered by accident/experimentation, with your manual reservation post.

I reckon Barry would agree this would be a valuable resource for new users.
