Just for interest – the m3u8 streams played through the web IF can be played via various players – VLC, ffplay, mpv. I got the best results via mpv https://mpv.io/. Simply running the m3u8 URL as an argument works – e.g. for BBC 1 HD.

mpv.exe http://{aura IP}/api/live-video/101/video.m3u8

I can supply my mpv.conf that seems to give me best quality if anyone is interested.

dlna is not reliable for me (not sure if it’s my network or the aura box) so playing the m3u8 streams via a player is a good alternative for me.

And of course, yes, I realise I could just play them via the web IF but that’s too easy.
