InactiveHi all, recently notice that all HD channels(itv3, itv etc) and some other odd ones are not streaming on my S1100 unit.
Have read on line that has been some disruption to signal due to 4G and 5G signals. I live on the south side of the Isle of Wight.
Wondered if anyone has had similar issue.

InactiveHi DavidR,
Welcome to the forum. Do you mean Humax 1100S PVR? You mention s1100.
If so, itv catch up/ streaming, plus going backwards on EPG, no longer works, been like this for a long time now. Your title shows: no channels, the channels haven’t disappeared, it’s just the on demand server access linked to your box from freesat. BBC still works fine. So nothing to do with signal strength, it’s been blocked by Freesat. How kind of Freesat, they are very considerate guys (or not). How long have you had your PVR DavidR? Has it worked alright in the past, when you last used feature?
I have just found for myself, Freesat have removed remote app feature. Another “very kind” solution from Freesat. Not impressed with their loyalty to users. John L

InactiveHi John L, thanks for the reply.
Have owned the PVR for over 2 years now but only noticed this issue about 3 weeks ago.
Have also noted that the app feature has been disabled. Great!! Can’t believe they would do this, but it’s the same with all the providers, all trying to push you into buying their products. Big Brother is here.!!!

InactiveHi DavidR,
Yes it’s becoming a very cruel world in the world of technology. Personally, I wouldn’t waste my money purchasing one of Freesat newer boxes just to “hopefully” get the support for current features. How longer are they going to support and allow users chance to continue with features? All they want is your money, to invest in designing next gadget . . . Streaming maybe? Wow! That’s a useful (unuseful in my opinion) gadget! Maybe everyone wants to also record content . . .maybe in another 5/10 years? The mind boggles! They call this progress? John L

InactiveI think my PVR is going to make a quick advert on my local selling site. I don’t watch much TV anymore, have gone back to watching DVD’s, glad I didn’t ditch the player.
Watch out guys the TV gonna steal your mind.
