Last night the HDR-T2 lost BBC1, 2, 3 and 4.
BBC1 had been OK as we’d watched some of the Germany – Italy match, but later when we went back the whole screen was pixellated and completely unwatchable (BBC 1, 2, 3, 4)!
On the HDR-T2 the signal quality was 48-50%, strength was 10%. On the Panasonic TV being fed through the box, quality was 100%, strength 80%.
I did a manual retune (Ch 23), which caused the HDR-T2 to lose the BBC channels but come up with ones in the 800’s (unwatchable).
The TV was working fine as was the HD-T2 box I’ve also got. Both had completed the OTA update.
I did a manual retune again this morning and everything is back to normal. We’ve also had a few cases recently where recordings on BBC1 failed.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem could be?
Typical, I thought I’d provide as much useful info as possible and miss out one vital bit!!!

I’m using Crystal Palace.
There have been a small number of somewhat similar reports and some have involved Crystal Palace. Has everything been OK since? If so put it down as one of those things that is unlikely to be properly explained.
Digital UK has CP listed as undergoing planned engineering,and digital tv is liable to interruption:

Don’t know whether that would have any bearing on the OP’s problem.
