Occasionally, I get the message that recording has failed because of loss of power. Last week, it only recorded 38 minutes of a one hour serial.

It also warns that it is going to change channels for a recording, when I am watching a pre recorded program.

Not very often (thank goodness) it jumps back 10 minutes when I am skipping through the adverts.

Guessing you must have changed the reverse skip settings from the default settings.

The defaults allow to skip the most common ad break of 4 mins. Two forward is 2 x 2 mins and one back if you overshoot to the end of the break is ideal.

I use 30 sec forward, 15 sec back. Early morning progs have a much shorter break, as does the ITV progs from 8pm sometimes.

So how do you manage to get a 10 minute reverse skip ?

Press OK. If current time indicator is not blue, press up so it goes blue. Now try forward and reverse skip. If not blue you are selecting fast reverse speed.

I know about the blue time indicator, & press up if it is illuminated. But, I am skipping forward, so how come it jumps back approx. 10 min? It is not very often, but it is annoying.

Back to the original question. Do you have channel numbers over 800 in your epg >

Were any of these in the 800’s ? If so that does not work. You need to delete all the channels and then manual tune the Mux used by your best transmitter.
