I have set up the Favourites Group on my new FVP 4000T.

Whilst in the Favourites Group, if I select a TV channel using the numeric pad then the tuner reverts to the default all channels group.

Is this normal or can the Favourites Group be made to remain selected until I deliberately change it?

Is the channel you select with the numeric pad part of your favourites group?

Yes, I first noticed the problem when I used the numeric pad to change to Sky News on channel 132, as this is much quicker than using the programme guide.

Both Sky News and the programme that I was watching are within the same group.

Did you make your favourites list ‘sticky’

I cannot replicate this reported problem.

I followed your instructions exactly as to ‘sticky keys’ and the result was the same.

The programme up/down buttons will change the TV channels within the Favourites Group, but as soon as a TV channel is selected using the numeric pad the “favourites” are replaced by the defaults.

I am happy to report that the problem has cured itself.

It is very puzzling as I have not made any changes, yet the selected favourites group does not now change when I use the numeric pad.

I also had the problem reported elsewhere about difficulty in switching on and getting a steady blue light, again I have not made any changes.

    Strange.

I had intended to return the tuner for a refund, but have now decided to keep it.
