InactiveHi, can somebody please tell me where I can find an online manual for the HDR2000T?
Thank you.

InactiveThank you very much – I did see that in my search but as it said “Quick Start” I didn’t look any further, but it does seem to be much more than a Quick Start guide.
Very helpful.

ModeratorTis a tad misleading since they have combined the QSG and Manual.
Pages 1 – 12 were what was known as the QSG, the remainder being the Manual.

InactiveMost things are confusing! I simply can’t keep up nowadays, that’s why I like to read the manual before I buy something to make sure I’ll be able to cope, also that it does what I think it will:(
I read reviews but techie people use techie language which isn’t very helpful to us (older) non-techies!
I’m loooking to replace my aged 9150, which has done stirling service, but the time has come ….

InactiveMy HDR2000T still annoys me. Several times a week the HDMI link between it and the TV breaks and I have to switch them both off and on again (TV first). However, I can live with that, and if it was stolen I’d buy another. You’ll have gathered all the PVRs seem to have their faults. At least, after you’ve read the threads here, you’ll be forewarned!

InactiveI replaced the hard drive about 18 months ago in my 9150, and as it’s started playing up again (losing all programmes, stuttering and breaking up recordings, missing some scheduled recordings), rather than putting another new drive in thought I’d upgrade a little by buying the HDR2000T.

InactiveOh, thank you! I was looking for a refurbished one anyway. It appears from the specs that the only difference between the two is the length of recording time?
I’m sure the 1800 will be more than adequate in terms of recording time so thank you for the heads up.
I’m sure I’ll be back with lots of questions as I muddle my way through:-)

InactiveBeware! The Humax Direct email wrongly describes the HDR 1800T as a Freesat recorder, when it’s really a Freeview recorder.

Yep different HDD sizes, and colour of course.
HDR 1800T – 320GB HDD
HDR 2000T – 500GB and 1TB HDD

and with the HDR-2000T there is slightly more flexibilty as the HDR-2000T has 2 UB ports and the HDR-1800T has just the one.

Yep, was not going to list all differences, but as you mention that one, another is the remotes, piano black for 2000, and matt black for 1800, the layout is different as well…note the manual images for the 1800T remote are wrong.
