    I have a FOX HDR T2

Last week it stopped allowing ‘pause’ on live TV …..

If I press pause nothing happens.

It is still making recordings OK, pause works fine on recording playback – but not on live TV.

The ‘PVR’ button on remote does fash read when pause pressed, so again giving confidence in remote.

Removed all cables powwere off …. still the same.

    Any suggestions ?

Corrupted time shift buffer file. Copy all your recordings to external storage. Then do a hard disk format.

If you have the custom firmware installed (Hummy.tv) it has the capability to fix hard disk errors like this one.

As GLT says. If you have the custom firmware on board, you can rename the 0.ts file (time shift buffer), the box will create another one and all in the garden will be rosy.

I do have custom f/w installed, how would I fix HD errors with it ?

If I need go to another forum let me know.

Not sure if the time shift buffer file is 0.ts on a HDR-FOX-T2. It certainly is on a Foxsat-HDR

You need to go into maintenance mode.

The Custom firmware threads are on Hummy TV
