    Users can now set series timers via the Humax live tv app.

    Caveat: Info on how epg data is derived:

    1. On live tv app and myhumax.net the information is retrieved from freeview servers (IP) not all programmes currently have series data, hopefully this will be improved over time.

    2. The FVP obtains guide date from both broadcast and IP, the priority being broadcast data, so you may spot differences.

    I’ve tested it via android phone, setting 2 x timers for BBC1 HD and itv HD and they have both been scheduled :-)

    Any sign of a search facility on the android app? Will it work landscape?

    Hmm… got to the schedule and set up a recording on my iPhone. Not yet showing on the 4000T and now I cannot get the LiveTV app to fire up (network error). More later. R-

    Scheduled recording now showing OK on the box (and recording now) – just waiting to see if the reminder I set up at the same time also works. R-

    Not at present, but is one of the enhancements planned for future, no timescale at the moment.

    Timers mentioned in post #1 have been actioned, and schedule updated for next episodes, also subsequently set timers via iOS, they to have been actioned correctly.
