I’ve had my Humax box (HDR FOX T2) for quite a number of years now and it has given me tremendous use

Recently I revamped my room and the Humax was consigned to a closed cabinet beneath the tv. I can open the cabinet and excess the Humax from there, but it’s awkward and I’d like to have a more user friendly version

As of now my setup is pretty basic: the rooftop aerial is connected to the Humax and the Humax is connected to the tv (Samsung Smart tv)

I understand I can connect the two together with some sort of IR lead but I don’t know how or what I need, or indeed if this is the best way. I’m aiming for as few wires showing as possible, to achieve a good result I don’t mind spending a few £.
